Dayjah Lachey Burton
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
My name is DayJah Burton. Please feel free to address me as DayJah. The primary language spoken is English. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) at Guillaume Marriage and Family Counseling.
I hold a master's degree, and my application for registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) is currently pending review. I provide clinical services under the supervision of Nahomie Guillaume, LMFT, and Kristi Abbott, LCSW.
I am engrossed with serving communities of color battling mental health challenges, including interpersonal challenges, environmental stressors, spirituality, and identity. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual exploration and identity, grief, and neurodivergence.
My work has consisted of serving populations focused on aiding adults with navigating the complexities of life, as well as working with children on the spectrum. My overall goal is to work towards eradicating stigma surrounding mental health and continue fostering safe spaces where clients feel heard, seen, and valued.
My focus is to facilitate and foster spaces that promote transparency, comfort, and safety. My approach integrates various modalities in an effort to meet my clients where they are and provide the tools to thrive.
